Launching of Customer Service Week

Petaling Jaya, 5th September 2006 –

In line with Government’s relentless effort and encouragement to focus on service excellence for both public and private sectors, the Centre for Customer Care (CCC) Malaysia is launching the Customer Service Week for the very first time in Malaysia on 9th September 2006 and the event will be held at the Friendster Cafe & Restaurant Damansara Perdana from 5pm – 7pm. Friendster Coffee is the Main Sponsor for this event.

At this event to launch Customer Service Week in Malaysia, there will be two (2) keynote speakers, namely:

  1. Drum Circle for Teambuilding for Service Excellence – Dr. Allen Teh

  2. Six Sigma Approach for Process and Systems Improvement for Service Industry – Mr Sri Vadrevu

This event, envisaged to be celebrated not only in Malaysia but also throughout Asia Pacific, is devoted to creating a higher level of awareness towards the importance of customer service in the marketplace and at the same time to recognise publicly the “silent heroes” who are in service functions, committed to delivering service excellence to their customers everyday.
